Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetics and Recovery Specialist to join our team at Nuffield Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our theatres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care: Provide safe and effective care to patients undergoing anaesthetic and recovery procedures.
  • Collaborate with the team: Work closely with anaesthetists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Supervise and support junior staff: Mentor and guide junior members of the team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent patient care.
  • Contribute to theatre operations: Assist with the preparation and maintenance of theatres, ensuring they are equipped and ready for procedures.
  • Develop and maintain skills: Stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies, and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Registration: Be registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC).
  • Experience: Have post-registration experience in a theatre setting, with a strong understanding of anaesthetic and recovery procedures.
  • Communication skills: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Teamwork: Be a team player, with a strong commitment to collaboration and mutual respect.
