Job Title: Respiratory Physiotherapy Advanced Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Respiratory Physiotherapy Advanced Practitioner to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership to the Respiratory Physiotherapy Team and drive forward the transformation of current pathways.

About the Role

The post holder will be responsible for assessing and treating patients in the inpatient areas, providing clinical leadership to Respiratory outpatients, and overseeing the education and staff competency in Respiratory Physiotherapy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Respiratory Physiotherapy, with a Master's level specialist training and evidence of advanced practice skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to the Respiratory Physiotherapy Team
  • Drive forward the transformation of current pathways
  • Assess and treat patients in the inpatient areas
  • Provide clinical leadership to Respiratory outpatients
  • Oversee the education and staff competency in Respiratory Physiotherapy
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Respiratory Physiotherapy, with a Master's level specialist training and evidence of advanced practice skills. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
