Main Responsibilities:- Plan, assess, implement, and evaluate programs of care for individual children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
- Supervise and support other staff members in providing care, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with children, young people, and their families, promoting open communication and trust.
- Take charge of the ward in the absence of senior nursing staff, demonstrating leadership and expertise.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registered Nurse with a relevant nursing qualification.
- Demonstrable experience of working with acute/chronically sick children and young people or transferable specialist skills.
- Understanding of professional and current issues in children's nursing, with evidence of ongoing professional development.
- A comprehensive induction program to support your transition into the role.
- Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
