Key Responsibilities
- Assessing credit and payment conditions for both new and existing clients
- Managing cash collections in accordance with established terms
- Preparing weekly forecasts of incoming receipts
- Analyzing and acting on aged debtor reports
- Administering and reviewing credit insurance as necessary
- Providing reports on overdue accounts and debtor days
- Interpreting and delivering insights from our financial systems
- Addressing inquiries from the Sales team and clients via phone and email
- Fostering and maintaining positive relationships with our clientele
- Following up on outstanding debts
- Creating accounts for new customers
- Conducting account reconciliations and generating invoices
- Collaborating with global offices and local teams to ensure smooth order processing

Essential Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in credit control within a finance department or similar setting
- Experience managing a large customer portfolio in a fast-paced and complex environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail with a proven track record of meeting deadlines
- Effective problem-solving skills, applied in decision-making processes
- Proficient in IT, particularly with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- A proactive work ethic aligned with Unilin's values
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a commercial setting
- Familiarity with SAP software
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Strong capabilities in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
