Vallum Associates is seeking a talented Data Product Owner to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver value from data to stakeholders by identifying and prioritizing business requirements.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations.
  3. Document data requirements, business outcomes, and data flows to ensure seamless data integration.
  4. Support engagement partners in delivering requirements through analysis and testing.
  5. Embed Service Excellence principles in data contracts to ensure high-quality data delivery.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology stack, data architecture, and data culture principles to effectively represent the data team.
  7. Develop expertise in specific datasets, interrogate data, and specify views to support reporting requirements.
Requirements:
  1. Passion for using data and technology to drive decision-making.
  2. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  3. Experience in capturing, defining, and specifying data mapping and transformation rules.
  4. Ability to thrive in a scaled agile environment involving cross-functional execution teams.
  5. Good knowledge of SQL, with knowledge of data modeling concepts and data management techniques being advantageous.
  6. Knowledge of AWS and Snowflake is desirable.
  7. Experience in the Insurance sector is not required but would be an advantage.
