Key Responsibilities
As a Surgical Services Team Supervisor, your role will encompass the following:
- Lead and mentor a dedicated team of surgical practitioners, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence.
- Oversee surgical procedures, ensuring compliance with established protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and streamline operational efficiency.
- Facilitate ongoing professional development opportunities through the Ramsay Academy, promoting career advancement within our extensive network of healthcare facilities.
- Maintain a positive and flexible approach, fostering a supportive environment for both staff and patients.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current NMC registration without restrictions.
- A minimum of five years of surgical scrub experience within the UK.
- Knowledge in orthopaedics or other specialties is advantageous.
- A Surgical First Assist qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
- A warm, empathetic demeanor and a commitment to patient-centered care.
