About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a specialist setting, we cater for children and young people aged 2-19 with Autism alongside other Complex Needs to include SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for students with complex needs, including Autism and SEMH
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, adapting materials to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles
  • Support students with daily living skills, such as personal care and mobility
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with Autism and Complex Needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
