Job Title: Mechanical Systems Coordinator

TAIT is at the forefront of providing exceptional entertainment solutions globally. We are currently in search of a Mechanical Systems Coordinator to fulfill a pivotal role in our operations. This position is essential for integrating diverse components of projects to ensure a flawless and unified system. As a Mechanical Systems Coordinator, your responsibilities will include overseeing project installations and collaborating across specialized sectors such as Entertainment Rigging, Automation, and Staging/Carpentry.

In this capacity, you will assume a significant technical and leadership position throughout the project lifecycle, guaranteeing that our clients receive superior products and services. You will work in close partnership with the integration team to offer tailored technical assistance during the creative phases, effectively merging technology with artistry to produce memorable performances and events.

Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, including the assembly and disassembly of custom-built show elements, setting up staging and mechanical apparatus, and ensuring adherence to all safety regulations. You may also be required to travel to client locations, collaborating closely with the project team to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute mechanical tasks on staging and rigging apparatus
  • Aid in the assembly and disassembly of bespoke show components
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Safely install lifting systems
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation
  • Travel to client locations as necessary

Requirements:

  • Experience in the entertainment technology sector
  • Familiarity with entertainment technology and equipment

  • Capability to interpret technical drawings
