The Recruitment Co. is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our esteemed client in the automotive sector, recognized for their excellence in manufacturing small to medium volume components and accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify that incoming components from suppliers and internally manufactured items comply with established quality standards.
- Ensure that all produced goods meet the necessary quality benchmarks to reduce costs associated with quality issues and enhance customer satisfaction while adhering to established procedures.
- Assess incoming materials to confirm they meet the required quality criteria.
- Identify and escalate quality concerns promptly to mitigate any potential impact on customer satisfaction.
- Assist in managing all quality-related matters within the production team, including internal, supplier, and customer warranty issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective measures for product quality challenges.
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to swiftly address quality issues, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators, including scrap rates and rework levels.
- Have the authority to halt production if substandard goods or processes are identified.
- Support adherence to the Quality Management System, including relevant standards.
- Facilitate training sessions to promote quality awareness among team members.
- Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance and prevent non-conformities related to products, processes, or systems.
- Assist in the approval process for initial sample inspections.
- Stay informed about current trends in manufacturing and engineering that impact product quality.
- Prepare reports and present updates during project meetings.
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve issues effectively.
- Provide training to colleagues within the team.
- Participate in regular quality inspection meetings to develop action plans for enhancing product quality.
- Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies.
Qualifications:
- Assertive and proactive approach.

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
