Senior Sister/Charge Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sister/Charge Nurse to lead our Acute Medical Ward. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the ward.
Main Duties- 24-hour accountability for the ward, including line management and delivery of high-quality care.
- Support and contribute to the development of patient care and practice within the Directorate.
- Ensure junior staff and students have appropriate supervision and assessment.
- Facilitate and organize the daily running of the ward, liaising with medical staff, bed manager, and allied healthcare professionals.

Person Specification- Registered General Nurse.
- Mentorship or equivalent qualification.
- Nursing-related Degree or Diploma.
- Relevant recent experience.
- In-depth knowledge of current practice.
- Holistic patient assessment.
- Professional issues in nursing and healthcare.
- Clinical supervision.
- Clinical governance.
- Research/clinical audit.
- Ability to manage own workload.
