About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join HR Spectrum as an HR Business Partner, working in a hybrid role that combines recruitment, support, and advisory functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own designated area of the business, handling end-to-end recruitment, delivering inductions, and providing guidance and support on policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own designated area of the business, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with line managers and employees.
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment, including onboarding, to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Deliver inductions to new employees, providing a comprehensive overview of the company's policies, procedures, and culture.
  • Support and advise line managers on employment-related issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management.
  • Attend disciplinary and grievance meetings, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Provide guidance and support on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice.
  • Monitor and manage absence, working closely with line managers to identify and address any underlying issues.
  • Support line management on short and long-term sickness, attending meetings and liaising with Occupational Health as necessary.
  • Work closely with line management to identify and support training needs across the designated area.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture, assisting with regular Employee Voice focus groups and attending Employee Committee meetings.
  • Enjoy involvement in wider strategic HR projects across the business, contributing to the development of HR initiatives and policies.
Requirements
  • Ideal CIPD qualification or studying towards.
  • Solid HR generalist experience, with a strong understanding of employment law and best practice.
  • Manufacturing or retail experience could be beneficial.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and manage expectations.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Proficient in MS 365, SharePoint, and HR systems.
