ROLE OBJECTIVE

This pivotal position is situated within our Exeter office, focusing on delivering valuation insights specifically for our retained clientele. A prompt response is crucial to ensure seamless service delivery, making this role essential in maintaining our high standards.

You will serve as the primary contact for retained clients, tasked with identifying new business opportunities and expanding the Valuation services in the Exeter office. Proactively engaging with clients and keeping the Head of Office informed about all valuation activities is key to this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct valuation assignments that encompass commercial properties (industrial, office, retail, or land) as well as residential development projects.
  • Market the valuation services to both existing and prospective clients, driving new business growth in the Devon area.
  • Prepare valuation reports, provide fee estimates, manage a diverse client portfolio, and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Assist with additional consultancy projects as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Must be a chartered and Registered Valuer with RICS, possessing a minimum of 3 years' experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant IT applications.
  • A self-motivated individual with a commercial mindset, capable of working collaboratively and independently.
  • Strong research, analytical, and reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, with excellent prioritization, time management, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Proactive and adaptable to change, maintaining a positive attitude and the highest level of professionalism.
  • Possess a valid driving license.

WORK LOCATION

This role is primarily based in the Exeter office, with the possibility of working in other locations as required by the nature of our business.
