We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our team at STERIS. As a key member of our Sterile Services department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to ensure our staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for decontamination and sterile services staff
- Assess and evaluate the performance of trainees to ensure they meet the required standards
- Collaborate with unit management to identify training needs and develop tailored training solutions
- Monitor and review progress of individual employees and report routinely to RTM and unit management
- Ensure a safe and healthy training environment by following STERIS and other standards
- Level 3 qualification in Education and Training or equivalent
- Previous experience in Sterile Services is essential
- Previous experience of training, mentoring or coaching employees
- Excellent practical skills in sterile services - reprocessing
- Sound understanding of SOP's and QMS systems
- Excellent organisation skills
- Ability to prioritise, plan and deliver training schedules
