Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Quality Assurance and Compliance to lead our Quality Assurance activities at one of our company sites. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our site operates in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a robust Quality Management System that ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Lead the site Compliance Council process to ensure that all site activities are aligned with our company's quality policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement effective quality control measures to prevent non-conformities and ensure that all products meet our quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and to implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry partners to ensure that our site is compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide training and guidance to site staff on quality-related topics and ensure that all staff are aware of their roles and responsibilities in maintaining our site's quality standards.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure that our site is operating in accordance with our quality policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement metrics to measure our site's quality performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree-level education or equivalent experience in a quality-related field.
- Proven experience in a quality assurance or compliance role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of GMP and GDP regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and regulatory agencies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve quality goals and objectives.
