Supplier Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Quality team at Brio Energy. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop supplier quality management processes to meet aerospace industry standards, including ISO 9001, AS9100, and NADCAP.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive supplier audit structure, including clear audit schedules and performance metrics.
  • Lead the supplier corrective action process, including reporting and tracking of nonconformities and product defects.
  • Provide training and mentoring to team members on supplier audit and quality management procedures.
  • Support quality assurance activities, including internal auditing and process improvement initiatives.
  • Implement robust purchased part inspection processes to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Support Quality Assurance tasks as required.
  • Lead team-based problem-solving projects to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Experience working with First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and problem-solving methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles and aerospace industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
