Overview

Incyte is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Operations Leader to oversee our clinical trial operations within the United Kingdom and Ireland (UK&I). This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of our diverse pipeline of innovative therapies across various therapeutic areas, including Oncology, Dermatology, and Immunology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and tactical oversight for all clinical trial activities within UK&I, ensuring alignment with global strategies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including research, development, regulatory affairs, and external partners, to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery of results.
  • Manage a team of clinical operations professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement robust operational processes and systems to optimize efficiency, quality, and compliance across all UK&I clinical trials.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to established protocols.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to ensure the highest standards of ethical conduct and data integrity.
  • Represent Incyte at external meetings and conferences, effectively communicating our clinical development programs and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in leading and managing clinical operations teams within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements, and drug development processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field; advanced degree preferred.
