We are seeking a highly skilled Adult Psychiatry Consultant to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Consultant General Adult Psychiatry - CMHT team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert psychiatric care to patients with complex mental health needs
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Contribute to the development of mental health policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Completion of specialist training in adult psychiatry
- Experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
