Job Title: Brand and Marketing Officer

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Officer with experience in the charity sector to join our team in Leatherhead, Surrey.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Leatherhead, and time in the office is key, so you can collaborate with our marketing and fundraising teams and contribute to a charity who have built a collaborative, supportive working culture.

As Marketing Officer, you will help raise awareness and receive regular income for the charity through effective marketing and communications campaigns. This role will focus on promoting fundraising campaigns to the horticultural industry, those who love gardens, outdoor spaces and sport.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement creative marketing and communications campaigns to raise awareness and income for the charity.
  • Utilize your experience in direct marketing, digital marketing, and fundraising marketing to drive results.
  • Produce project briefs for on and offline marketing campaigns and work closely with the marketing and fundraising teams to deliver successful initiatives.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and fundraising.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of marketing disciplines, particularly direct marketing, digital marketing, and fundraising marketing.
  • Experience in producing creative project briefs for on and offline marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in digital campaign support across SEO, social media, and advertising.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with website CMS, email platforms, and Microsoft Office.
