About the Role:

We are looking for a confident individual with a creative flair to work as a Chef in our kitchen. The successful candidate will have relevant experience in a similar sized kitchen and qualifications in food hygiene, prep, and cookery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Home Manager with menu creation, ensuring a nutritious and varied menu is available.
  • Ensure all food preparation meets the requirements of COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Manage food budgets and stocks, checking deliveries as required and placing them in the appropriate storage areas.
  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in all areas of the kitchen.
  • Overall kitchen staff management, training, recruiting, and rotas.
  • The hours will be worked between Monday to Saturday on a rota basis with other team members.
