About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Electric Vehicle Sales Specialist to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in introducing our new electric vehicle leasing product to the market and providing exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers interested in purchasing an electric vehicle and qualify the right one for them
  • Manage the end-to-end sales pipeline with customers, from lead to order and delivery, to meet sales targets
  • Continuously plan and target the acquisition of new customers through extensive product and process testing
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process and after-sales customer care
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to build strong relationships and drive sales pipeline growth
  • Seek and record customer feedback to ensure a high-quality customer experience and identify areas for improvement
  • Educate customers on transitioning to electric leasing and provide them with the information they need to create a greener, fairer, and more sustainable future
Requirements
  • A valid UK driving license is required for test drives and travel
  • Previous B2C sales experience and/or a strong passion for electric vehicles, sustainability, and the automotive industry
  • A start-up/entrepreneurial mindset to adapt to ongoing change in a fast-moving business
  • Flexibility in working hours and days, with potential participation in weekend events and travel for on-road activities
  • A proven track record of working in a target-driven role with excellent customer service skills
  • A genuine passion for going above and beyond for customers and business growth
  • A constant focus on improving and developing personally and within the business
  • Ideal experience in fleet or leasing is a bonus
