We are seeking an exceptional and motivated midwife to join our team as a Senior Midwifery Manager within our Delivery Suite. As a key member of our Senior Leadership team, you will play a crucial role in influencing a positive safety culture across our perinatal services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership to a team of midwives and maternity support workers, promoting optimal standards of care for pregnant women and their families.
- Work closely with the Matron, Delivery Suite Coordinators, and Medical Colleagues to ensure excellent care is provided to women, birthing people, and their families.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Manage and develop staff, including absence and appraisals, to ensure a high-performing team.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care and services.
- Current NMC registration.
- Practising midwife with substantial experience in intrapartum care in a high-risk environment.
- Maintain a portfolio and meet PREPP requirements.
- ALSO/PROMPT course or equivalent experience.
- Mentorship/preceptorship trained.
- Educated to Masters Level or evidence of working towards.
- Recognised management study.
- Recognised leadership training.
- NIPE (Examination of the Newborn) training and competence.
