Project Controls Manager

Turner & Townsend Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Manager to join our Natural Resources & New Energies team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading cross-discipline teams of project controls professionals to deliver effective, consistent, and value-adding project controls services to our clients across diverse and complex programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive continuous improvement in project controls processes to create efficiency and increase benefits to our clients.
  • Define and implement project controls approaches across the project, programme, and portfolio levels, allowing effective decision-making at all levels.
  • Develop and implement effective governance and assurance processes around project controls products.
  • Collaborate with the Integrated Project Team to establish a robust, accurate Performance Measurement Baseline and manage the change control process.
  • Work with Project and Commercial Management to establish the Supplier Project Controls contract requirements and integrate and analyse supplier performance data.
  • Ensure scope, cost, risk, and schedule integration and alignment, and analyse performance data to provide delivery insight and facilitate delivery decisions.
  • Train and coach clients and less experienced team members on performance and reporting management processes and practices.
  • Assure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of the Project Controls team's output.
Requirements
  • Experience in the application of several Project Controls disciplines (Planning, Cost Estimation, Cost Management, Risk Management, or Reporting) in multiple projects.
  • Practical experience of integrating Project Controls disciplines and the ability to assess the maturity of a team and ways of working.
  • Experience in using some Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys, etc.).
