Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inclusion Services Administrator to join our team at the Transformation Unit. As an Inclusion Services Administrator, you will play a critical role in providing administrative and clerical support to our Interpreting and Translating Services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Interpreting Bookings: You will be responsible for coordinating telephone, email, and electronic diary bookings for the NUH interpreting service, allocating freelance and volunteer interpreters to bookings based on set criteria.
  • Administrative Support: You will provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to the Interpreting and Translating Services, including maintaining an up-to-date diary and record of interpreting bookings.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: You will possess excellent communication skills with a high level of written and spoken English, and be able to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve team goals.
  • Problem-Solving and Judgment: You will use your analytical and judgment skills to make decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications: You will have a NVQ level 2 or equivalent, or 8 passed GCSEs, English & Mathematics 6 or higher grade.
  • Technical Skills: You will have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Business Acumen: You will have a basic understanding of business principles and practices.
