Job Title: Environmental Waste Operator

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Environmental Waste Operator to join our team at Tradebe Inutec in Dorset. As an Environmental Waste Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting radioactive waste projects and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Radioactive Waste Plant Operations
  • Waste Movements
  • Housekeeping

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out processing operations for various process plant applications, including cementation, super-compaction, size reduction, sort and segregation, decontamination, and chemical processing. You will also be required to work flexibly, including weekends and rotas, and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) as necessary.

Requirements:
  • A current driving license
  • Highly motivated and hands-on attitude
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Unquestionable integrity, values, ethics, and trustworthiness
  • FLT Certificate
  • Gantry crane and slinger experience (training can be given)
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet timescales
