Senior Geoscience Consultant Role

The Senior Geoscience Consultant role will be part of the UXO site operations team, reporting to the Operations Director. This role involves acting as a primary liaison for clients throughout project lifecycles, providing continuous operational support and ensuring the production of high-quality deliverables. The consultant will provide technical advice, manage information and data flow, and play a key role supporting the bidding phase and business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing ongoing operational support.
  • Produce and present geological and technical reports, including project-specific certifications and specifications.
  • Offer technical advice and guidance to the geophysical team, ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables.
  • Assist with technical guidance during the bidding phase.
  • Monitor survey data acquisition and manage quality assurance.
  • Attend client meetings online and in person within the UK and occasionally internationally, maintaining and nurturing relationships through frequent communication.
  • Identify new opportunities, support business development, and pitch services to potential customers.
  • Provide clear leadership and task coordination, including mentoring or developing junior team members.
Requirements

Candidates should have at least five to seven years of experience of offshore geophysical campaigns, project management experience, a strong understanding of the offshore energy industry, and proven leadership abilities. A degree in Geophysics, Geoscience, or another relevant field is required. Multilingual skills are desirable but not essential.
