About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Meredith Brown Associates as a Strategic Communications Manager, supporting the Communications function in implementing the communications programme of activity. You will lead the management of the reputation of the business as a responsible investor and an employer of choice, through managing relationships with external audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the management of the company's reputation, ensuring it is maintained and enhanced through effective communication with external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement a communications strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects of varying scale, ensuring they are delivered on time, to budget, and with a positive impact on the company's reputation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media representatives, ensuring the company's message is effectively communicated to the public.
  • Develop and implement a content strategy that engages colleagues and promotes the company's values and mission.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of corporate events, ensuring they are successful and align with the company's goals.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts within the asset management industry and other financial services sectors.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Communications role, with a strong track record of managing multiple projects and delivering results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to assimilate technical information and present it in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of digital and social media handling, with a strong understanding of how to promote the company's reputation online.
  • Strong understanding of internal communications, with the ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
  • Experience of the asset management industry or other financial services sector is highly desirable.
