About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Bristol, working for Skanska UK Plc, a leading project development and construction group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct planned maintenance, response, and fault analysis on electrical and mechanical services, plant, and systems.
  • Carry out fault finding and plant adjustments, inspect electrical/mechanical services, plant, and systems, and complete maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specification.
  • Perform general duties requiring multi-skilled discipline, including but not limited to:
    • Re-lamping luminaires
    • Fault finding to electrical wiring systems, motors, generators, lighting systems, chillers, AHUs
    • Cleaning of foul water systems, drains, inspections, and repair of all M&E systems such as extract and supply air ductwork systems, plumbing and heating systems
  • Conduct reactive and Extra Work requirements in adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with HASAWA legislation and Our Way of Working.
  • Implement and comply with the procedures as detailed in the company's Health & Safety Policies, Statutory obligations, and in accordance with the Skanska IFE (Injury Free Environment).
  • Ensure daily work sheets and maintenance & inspection records are completed and submitted on a timely basis.
  • Participate in the out of hours rota.
Requirements
  • Electrical City & Guilds, Part 1 and 2 or 'A' and 'B' or equivalent
  • BMS experience and multi-skilling capability
