About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Research Software Engineer to join our team at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our research data management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and maintenance of our research data management systems using Django and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with our team to design and implement user-friendly interfaces for our systems.
  • Work with our content management team to ensure the accuracy and quality of our data.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to ensure the long-term preservation and accessibility of our research data.
Requirements
  • A minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Interest or experience in software development and research data management.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
