The Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to join our team at Zen Durham. As a Chef at Zen Durham, you will be responsible for delivering our menu, showcasing your expertise in Thai and Pan-Asian cuisine, and exceeding customer expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to our menu specifications
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff supervision
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience as a chef, with a strong background in Thai and Pan-Asian cuisine
  • Excellent cooking skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
