Senior Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Senior Practitioner to join our dynamic frontline service at Birmingham Children's Trust. As a key member of the Ascent team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with complex and enduring mental health needs.
About the RoleAs a Senior Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and young people, working closely with families and partner agencies to safeguard and promote their well-being. You will have a proven track record in safeguarding and case management, with a strong focus on relationship-based practice and delivering exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert social work services to children and young people with complex mental health needs
- Work collaboratively with families and partner agencies to develop and implement effective support plans
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and risk assessments to inform decision-making
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and their families
- Contribute to the development of the Ascent service, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation

To be successful in this role, you will need:
