Recently established, Torus BGP is a joint venture between Bilfinger UK and Global E&C, dedicated to delivering a comprehensive suite of integrated services across CNRI's Ninian Central, Ninian South, and Tiffany North Sea assets. Our operations are unified under a singular operational philosophy, offering a broad spectrum of services such as Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Construction, Lifting, Inspection, Access, Deck Management, and Fabric Maintenance. This position falls under our Operations & Maintenance service line.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the update of operational schedules.
- Oversee the activities of subcontractors and third parties for required tasks.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of presentation materials.
- Coordinate with the Bilfinger ANDT Team for new work scopes, including equipment identification.
- Provide assistance to the Inspection Project Manager, Project Planner, and Engineer as needed.
- Cover responsibilities for the Project Planner and Project Engineer when necessary.
- Help compile and deliver planning data, including updates to planning software.
- Gather equipment orders for new scopes of work.
- Manage plant, material, and equipment ordering and monitoring, including maintaining material trackers and overseeing shipping logistics.
- Review plant maintenance reports to ensure alignment with actual offshore data.
- Communicate with stores and shipping departments to ensure timely equipment issuance.
- Ensure customer purchase orders are established prior to the commencement of work.
- Review and approve weekly working hours, ensuring accuracy in hours and coding in accordance with contracts.
- Verify invoicing data for labor and plant before submission to clients, assisting with any queries as necessary.
- Monitor purchase order costs to prevent overruns, submitting amended contracts as required.
- Assist in preparing financial forecasts.
- Ensure timely receipt of equipment checks, inspection reports, HSE reports, and all relevant documentation from offshore operations.
- Address queries related to PAYE wages.
- Approve employee expense claims.
- Manage and approve offshore holiday requests.
Qualifications and Experience
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas sector.
• At least 2 years of experience related to in-service inspection is preferred.
• A solid understanding of British, European, and International Standards pertaining to Safety, Environment, and Quality is desirable.
• Proficient knowledge of SAP or similar systems.
