About the Role

Fugro is seeking an experienced Offshore Inspection Engineer to join our team. As an Offshore Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with project preparation activities, including online data recording systems, offline data editing, and quality control for structural and pipeline inspections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with project preparation activities, including online data recording systems and offline data editing
  • Perform quality control for structural and pipeline inspections
  • Work closely with the team of Inspectors, Surveyors, Engineers, Data Processors, and ROV personnel to ensure all inspection and survey equipment is working effectively and data is collected efficiently and accurately
  • Communicate regularly with the team onboard the vessel and with clients
  • Work alongside the MAI Client Deliverables Team based in Aberdeen to provide ongoing support throughout the project life cycle

Requirements

  • Formal qualifications to a minimum of HND level in Engineering or IT
  • Hold an in-date CSWIP 3.4u or 3.3u, preferably, but we are happy to discuss with candidates who hold a 3.0 and above who are keen to progress with the 3.4u
  • Previous Offshore experience working with ROVs as an Inspection Engineer and/or Coordinator in UKCS, as well as MS Office experience
