FMCG Sales Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced FMCG Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing sales efforts for fast-moving consumer goods within the grocery sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets
- Lead promotional initiatives to drive brand visibility and customer engagement
- Nurture relationships with key grocery chains and independent stores to ensure exceptional customer service and long-term partnerships
- Regularly meet with retail buyers and category managers to present new offerings and stay up-to-date on market trends
- Conduct market research to identify gaps and opportunities for product launches and drive business growth
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operation and effective communication
- Prepare sales forecast reports and updates for senior management to provide insights into performance and areas of improvement
Requirements:
- 3-5 years sales experience within the FMCG space, with a focus on the grocery sector
- Proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with strong negotiation, presentation, and account management skills
- Ability to lead a sales team and delegate tasks as required
- Interpreting market data and presenting insights to drive business decisions
- Proficiency in sales software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
