The ideal candidate will have previous experience on multi-discipline civil engineering projects, ideally within the Rail sector. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing internal and external engineering resources to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Coordinating with project teams to ensure deliverables meet project requirements
  • Developing and implementing engineering strategies to improve project outcomes
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in rail projects, ideally Network Rail projects
  • Chartered Engineer or similar and participation in affiliated bodies
  • Previous senior-level involvement in design management services for civil engineering design and construction in the rail sector
  • Significant senior-level involvement in large project tender teams, including price and quality adjudicated bids
  • An understanding of commercial aspects, including typical terms and conditions and procurement models
  • Experience in managing design processes in tender or contract environments
