Key Responsibilities
  • Teach a range of subjects to students with SEMH
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Work closely with other teachers and support staff to ensure effective deployment of resources
  • Contribute to the educational and social development of each young person
  • Form effective relationships with students, their families, and external agencies
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Degree qualification or equivalent
  • Demonstrable achievements in excellence as a teacher
  • Primary and secondary teachers welcome to apply
  • Experience of assessment without levels and tracking pupil progress
  • Knowledge and understanding of statutory assessment arrangements and effective strategies to manage pupil behavior
