Job Title: SEN Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at Esland Daven School. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to our students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that our students receive the best possible education and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of students with SEND
  • Assess and track student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
  • Develop and implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) to support student progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective pastoral care and behaviour management
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of teaching students with SEND
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
