We are currently recruiting for self-employed delivery drivers to join our team, delivering to Bath and surrounding areas. With our pre-prepared routes and paid working mileage, you can earn a minimum of £159.00 up to £216.00 per day, plus performance incentives.

No previous experience necessary, as full, paid training is provided. All routes are pre-prepared for you, just arrive, load, and go. If you have your own van, great. If not, Owens Group can hire you a van, including all necessary insurances for a daily rental fee, no deposit required.

As a self-employed delivery driver with Owens Group, you will enjoy:

  • Paid working mileage, paid at 20p per mile.
  • 3 paid Induction and Training days.
  • Additional seasonal incentives.
  • Work available for up to a maximum of 6 workings days per week, including weekends, as we are a 7-day operation.
  • Pre-prepared routes. All routes are 9 hours, pre-sequenced and pre-mapped onto a bespoke delivery App.
  • Weekly invoice payments paid every Friday.
  • Partnership and support from a professional payment provider. Who help set you up as a sole trader, assist with administration, invoices, tax and VAT.

To be eligible for this role, you will need:

  • A full and valid UK or EU driving licence.
  • No more than 6 points on your driving licence. With no DR, CD, DG, IN, MS, or TT related endorsements.
  • Must pass a CRB background check and a Drug and Alcohol test.
  • Generally fit, healthy, and able to lift and deliver packages up to 23 kgs.
  • Independent problem solver with good communication skills.
