Head of Talent Acquisition and Learning

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our People Division as the Head of Talent Acquisition and Learning. As a key member of our team, you will lead our talent acquisition efforts and support our ventures in attracting and retaining world-class talent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a forward-thinking talent acquisition strategy that aligns with Improbable's mission and each venture's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with Founders and Venture Leaders to define the talent roadmap and priorities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Own executive hiring; attracting and onboarding world-class senior talent from across the globe, predominantly at Founder, Director, VP, and CxO levels.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team.
  • Oversee the end-to-end hiring process, from sourcing and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding, using data, analytics, and AI tools to constantly improve its efficiency and efficacy.
  • Implement strategies to attract and hire diverse talent through innovative sourcing techniques, ensuring representation across all levels of the organization.
  • Enhance Improbable's employer brand by promoting our culture, values, and unique opportunities across various channels.
  • Establish and regularly report key metrics and insights that measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts across our ventures to senior leadership.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a talent acquisition leadership role, preferably within the Web3, tech, or gaming space or within a venture-building environment.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing data-driven global talent strategies that drive business growth.
  • Robust believer in data and metrics, ensuring they partly or entirely influence daily decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of talent market trends, and of best-in-class tech, tools, and practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Passion for diversity and inclusion, with a track record of implementing successful initiatives.
  • Experience hiring senior roles, preferably up to C-suite.
  • Proactive developer and rigorous documenter of processes that increase efficiency gains across everything talent touches.
  • Innate levels of emotional intelligence, empathy, and humility.
