Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team at Navis Consulting. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out operational services to ships in a safe and responsible manner.
- Conduct ships' husbandry and Health & Safety checks onboard the vessel, rectifying and/or reporting faults as required.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory guidelines as laid down by the Company, MCA, and other external bodies.
- Supervise and train all other engineering staff under their control.
Requirements:
- Minimum STCW III/3 certification.
- All STCW basic training up to date.
- ENG1 Medical with at least 6 months until expiry.
- Ability to thoroughly analyze all engineering situations and submit detailed and accurate written and oral reports.
- Strong administrative/computer skills.
