As a Financial Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting their mission and be part of a highly regarded team of professionals dedicated to excellence.


Role Overview:
In the capacity of Financial Administrator, you will be instrumental in the daily financial operations of the institution.

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, your responsibilities will include overseeing month-end processes, updating financial forecasts, and supervising the Finance Assistant in managing supplier invoicing and inquiries.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure precise and timely billing by generating invoices, reconciling student enrollments, and maintaining the advance fees register.
  • Manage credit control, including daily reconciliations, following up on overdue invoices, and processing refunds and credit notes.
  • Oversee accounts payable, including processing supplier invoices, updating budget spreadsheets, and resolving supplier inquiries.
  • Maintain petty cash records, reconcile accounts, and request additional funds as necessary.
  • Support charitable initiatives by managing funds, recording payments, and ensuring timely disbursements to relevant organizations.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • A Levels or equivalent qualifications/experience.
  • Proficient in ICT with strong capabilities in Excel and database management.
  • Experience in a busy and diverse office environment.

Desirable Attributes:
  • Relevant honors degree or Professional Accounting qualification.
  • Experience with educational management systems and familiarity with the educational sector.
