Key Responsibilities- Recruit, train, and assess foster carers to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Provide ongoing support and supervision to foster carers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
- Work closely with foster carers, children, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for looked-after children.
- Contribute to the development of our foster care services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance the quality of our care.
We are looking for a qualified Social Worker with a strong background in fostering and child care. You will have excellent assessment skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also have a good working knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in relation to fostering and safeguarding.
We offer a highly attractive starting salary of up to £41,052 per annum, dependent on experience, plus a car allowance or company car, and excellent benefits, including a generous holiday allowance, contributory pension scheme, and bike-to-work scheme.
