About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our team as a Supervising Social Worker or Senior Supervising Social Worker. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the recruitment, training, assessment, support, and supervision of foster carers, ensuring high-quality placements for looked-after children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and assess foster carers to ensure they meet the necessary standards.
  • Provide ongoing support and supervision to foster carers, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance and resources to provide high-quality care.
  • Work closely with foster carers, children, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for looked-after children.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to fostering and safeguarding.
About You

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent assessment skills, strong communication skills, and a good working knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in relation to fostering and safeguarding. As a qualified Social Worker with a current HCPC registration, you will have recent experience in fostering and services for children, although less experienced candidates will be considered.

We offer a highly attractive starting salary of up to £41,052 per annum dependent on experience, plus a car allowance or company car, and excellent benefits, including a generous holiday allowance, contributory pension scheme, and bike-to-work scheme.
