Job Summary

Shropshire Homes, a leading housing developer, is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Technical team as a Trainee/Assistant Services Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a growing local business and contribute to the production and management of technical information and liaison with external parties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the procurement of new mains services schemes and coordination of service diversions
  • Secure road and sewer adoption agreements and subsequent adoption of infrastructure by local authorities
  • Procure traffic management to facilitate new developments
  • Support current developments in delivery of new service connections
  • Effective delivery of public open space areas for future maintenance

Requirements

  • Well-motivated with a desire to succeed
  • Customer-aware and willing to provide good customer service
  • Well-organized and self-sufficient, with experience of working within a team in a service-based role
  • Some experience of project management is helpful, but full training will be provided
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel
  • Construction-based qualification or working toward this is desirable
