Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer or Trainee Specialist to join our team at Pets at Home Group Plc. As a key member of our grooming team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pet grooming services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional pet grooming services, including bathing, trimming, and styling, to meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of pet behavior, body language, and grooming techniques to provide the best possible care for our customers' pets.
  • Assist with training and development of junior team members to ensure a smooth transition of knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean, safe, and healthy working environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Experience working with dogs in a professional grooming or pet care environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work a flexible shift pattern, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our business.
  • Basic understanding of pet grooming techniques and equipment.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
