About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dog Groomer or Trainee Dog Groomer to join our team at Pets at Home Group Plc. As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pet grooming services to our customers, exceeding their expectations and providing a great service within the salon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a full and thorough groom of a high standard, exceeding customer expectations.
  • Provide excellent communication skills, dealing with customers and their pets daily.
  • Work a flexible shift pattern across 6 days a week, with a minimum contract of 39 hours.
  • Have experience of working with, or handling dogs in a professional dog grooming or pet care environment.
  • Have a basic understanding of technical concepts relating to preparing and clipping of a dog for grooming.

  • A minimum of 28* days paid annual leave, rising to 33* days after 2 years (*includes 8 bank holidays and will be pro-rata calculated on your contracted hours).
