Junior Estimator - Tunnelling Services

We are seeking a skilled Junior Estimator to support our estimating team in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for various design and build tunnelling projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for tunnelling projects
  • Analyse project specifications, drawings, and design documentation to understand scope and requirements
  • Work closely with senior estimators, design engineers, and project managers to ensure estimates align with project goals and client expectations
  • Research and source materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs specific to design and build projects
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of tender documents and proposals
  • Maintain up-to-date records of project estimates, designs, and revisions
  • Participate in site visits, design meetings, and client consultations to gather information and insights
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Previous experience in construction and estimating
