Candidate Requirements

We are seeking a skilled Service Lift Engineer (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) to manage a portfolio of units within the designated area.

As a qualified Service Lift Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting all maintenance and service visits for lifts within your assigned territory
  • Responding promptly to lift breakdowns with a focus on achieving first-time fixes
  • Addressing persistent lift issues, ensuring zero defect insurance items, and meeting contractual KPIs by minimizing breakdowns
  • Performing minor repairs to ensure continuous lift operation
  • Engaging directly with customers on-site to build strong working relationships

To excel in this position, you should:

  • Hold at least an NVQ Level 3, J-Module, or equivalent qualification
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of various lift systems, including dock-levellers, goods and platform lifts, scissor lifts, and hydraulic systems
  • Demonstrate the ability to apply lift engineering principles for maintenance and fault diagnosis
