About the Role

The Langham, London is seeking a Canteen Assistant to support our colleague restaurant, The Yard. As a key member of our team, you will ensure daily meals are provided in a safe and clean environment, working under the direction of the Executive Sous Chef.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a clean and well-maintained canteen for colleagues
  • Deliver great and friendly service in a busy environment
  • Ensure the availability of food and drinks during opening times of The Yard
  • Work closely with the Staff Chefs and Back of House colleagues to maintain continuous supply of food, drinks, and crockery during service
  • Ensure all food is stored and handled correctly and meets the requirements of good food hygiene practice
  • Work with Human Resources on projects, such as themed meals and Christmas lunch
  • Provide feedback to the Executive Sous Chef
  • Work independently and resourcefully
