Project Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Accountant to join our team at Last Mile Infrastructure Limited. As a Project Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of project accounting, including financial accounting, analysis, and reporting for project revenues, costs, and margin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to revenue recognition standards
  • Produce accurate financial reports
  • Provide valuable insights into project profitability and performance
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment between project performance and financial reporting
  • Monitor project financial performance against the budget, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions
Requirements:
  • Experience of contract cost management
  • Previous experience in a project accounting role (desirable)
  • QS experience (desirable)
  • Generally accepted Finance qualification (CIMA/AAT) (desirable)
