Office Manager Job Description

JDO Global is seeking a highly organised and diligent Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Tunbridge Wells Studio.

The role involves managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities, including ordering and stock management, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring timely maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Office Management:
    • Ensure a professional, efficient, and safe work environment.
    • Coordinate office events, meetings, and team activities.
    • Implement and enforce office policies and procedures.
    • Manage office budgets and expenses.
    • Coordinate travel bookings and ensure cost-effectiveness.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all office-related issues.
    • Supervise cleaning and maintenance staff.
    • Assist with space planning and office moves.
    • Maintain and organise storage areas and archives.
  • HR Administration:
    • Assist with recruitment, including posting job adverts and arranging interviews.
    • Prepare welcome packs for new employees.
    • Schedule probationary meetings and track progress.
    • Assist with other HR-related tasks, such as updating policies and coordinating training sessions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • IOSH managing safely qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
